wow it felt like it was onli yesterday when liz would share her lunch with me at school (she had the bestest lunch with lots of cheese sandwiches and half frozen orange cordial)... i actually met liz at swot shop haha good ol tuition in yr 6 for the selective school exam…

the night began with salsa dancing at broadway! when i found out we were gonna be salsa dancing i was a bit hmm uhoh becos ive never been salsa dancing before but it was fun! it made the group bond! hehe becos half the group were girls who knew wiz from uni, half from church and half from baulko so it was good becos we were all laughing at and with each other.
haha STRIKE A POSE! haha yes…
da group of girls
and then dinner at Thai Pothong Restaurant (294 King Street, Newtown) which was like best thai restaurant in sydney for a whole bunch of years. service was fantastic the waiters would refill our glasses with water even when they were onli half empty (or is it half full… hehe) our long table decided to split into tables of four otherwise we’d get our food confused.
so on my end of the table was clare- wizs uni friend hehe this girls is by far THE nicest and most talkative person ive ever met! she was so sweet and would always tell me to eat more lol and she was the onli one who was willing to wear a party hat with me haha
and selena and erm forgot her name but they were the sisters of phil (wizs husband to be heh)

anyways our first entree were Money Bags- Crispy golden deep fried sweet minced chicken, crushed peanut wrapped with spring roll sheet served with plum sauce. and Papaya Salad- Spicy green papaya salad, with prawns, dried shrimps fresh tomatoes, lemon and peanuts.
first main we ordered was Panang Curry- Thick curry with peanuts and kaffir lime leaves and chicken. dude this curry was soooo nice!
2nd mains was Ginger Chicken- Sautéed with ginger, shallots and straw mushrooms.
and 3rd mains was Thai Fried Noodles- Traditional Thai style rice noodles with dried shrimps, egg, bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, chicken and prawns.
we didnt get to embarrass wiz very much lol the onli thing we thought of doing was sing happy bday to THE BRIDE with the whole restaurant joining in lol

next we went down a coupla shops to Gelatomassi (262 King Street, Newtown) where the owner quickly found all 18 of us seats out on the pavement and produced 2 ginormous platters containing scoops of every flavour he had and OH MY GOLLY GOSH! the watermelon gelatoooo soooo niceeeee! the pistachio! soooo niceee! eeee!!! seriously the best gelato ive ever had!
thanks to mel for organising! it was a fantastic nite dude!
baulko peeps! wiz, yunsi, me, mel, viv
