battle of the puffs! a new breed has emerged! in the first corner we have the puffy cookie puff!
but wait folks dont misjudge this puff by its name until you try them! Puffy Cookie Puff is located in World Square under the escalators near Breadtop. the cookie puffs insides dont impress me as much as beard papas (look at the gaping hole where they cldve filled more custard!) and it doesnt taste as orgasmically good. i do like the crunchy golden ‘cookie’ bits but i was perturbed to see it all get squished when my razor sharp teeth deflated the puff. i would continue to buy the cookie puff but i wished the staff there would scratch themselves a little less while i was waiting for my puffs… or course after buying the cookie puff i needed a comparison and off we went from the city to chatswood to buy a chocolate, green tea and numerous vanilla puffs from beard papas. no im not greedy at all…

Back to home
Oooooo I want to try that Cookie puff!! But it’s at such a random place and not walkable from my work (Wynyard), poo.
I’m amused you went to Chatswood too for the Beard Papa.. hehe
— Beverly Sep 12, 07:36 PM #oohhhhhhh thhx for introducing me to cookie puff! i will have to try it out hee hee and Beard papas is just gorgeous! if i remember correctly in japan they have a few more flavours :D so mayb coming soon
— FFichiban Sep 12, 11:56 PM #I think Beard Papa has the championship belt. It’s a KO by all accounts.
We headed up to BP last weekend to try the green tea flavour. It was quite good but we stuck with our usual dozen of vanilla bean. The BP custard is so silky smooth and creamy.
— helen Sep 13, 01:11 AM #puffy cookie is the hands down winner for me…and not only because of the name..heh
— noods Sep 13, 12:53 PM #We’ve had these in the States for a while now and while they are quite tasty, I must warn readers that they have very little nutritional value.
— Dr Frankie J Miller Sep 13, 03:41 PM #I tried a puffy today !
— FFichiban Sep 13, 09:20 PM #the first initial crunch was soo goodd.. so good that my lungs wanted some too!
buutt the cream is nowhere as good as BPs so if only they made puffs with the puffy cookieness and BPs cream they would create the ultimate of all puffs!
beverly: hehe well i needed to compare! tasty comparing mmm
— chocolatesuze Sep 18, 09:52 PM #FFichiban: more flavours? sweeeeet cant wait!
helen: yeah gotta say the beard papas vanilla bean is the winner
noods: you just like saying puffy
Dr Frankie J Miller: yeah theyre good to eat once in a while but not too often
FFichiban: lol indeed! glad you had a try of the puffy cookie tho
