parentals: ‘You want to come with us to get fish and chips?’
me: ‘yeah ok’ (gets in car)
(1 hour later)
me: ‘where the hell are we?’
parentals: ‘windsor’
me: ‘we drove to windsor just for fish and chips?? are you nuts??’
anyways the reason we drove to windsor is because the parentals had heard it has THE best fish and chips… and they like eating things as much as i do lol

i loved sitting outside! it was uberly hot that day like 30degrees or something and they had outdoor fans with hoses attached so whenever the fan blew your way it would spray a bit of water like a sprinkler!

fishy, calamari, seafood stick, pineapple fritter and chips

more fishy and a potato scallop

heh and each table had this can of fly spray lol so thoughtful

harlo mr parrot i wonder if people feed you…
not sure i would drive all the way to windsor just for the fish and chips but if i was in the area i would prolly go. the fishy was nice and the oil it was fried in was super fresh next time id try one of the cooked options like garlic prawns mmm
Back to home
Looks yummy!
— Vintage wine Oct 25, 05:33 PM #It`s strange to think that it`s so hot there, when I`m sitting here, looking out through window & all I see is autumn leaves on the trees and a grey sky :-)
Hehe knew you had to get your eating habits from somewhere. So cool how your parents go for new things. My parents go out and eat at Viet places!! Hellooo
— Nat Oct 27, 12:20 AM #Oh, I’d long forgotten about this place! I thought the cans of fly spray on each table were pretty funny too, when I first saw them. The fish ‘n’ chips were nice, but I don’t know if I would call them the best!
— Y Oct 29, 01:43 AM #vintage wine: heh yeah i guess thats the fun of food blogs you can see what other people eat even if its not in the right season
— chocolatesuze Oct 29, 10:17 PM #nat: lol yeah well theyve onli just started going diff places.. they still like taking our malaysian rellies to malaysian restaurants..
y: heh yeah those fly spray cans were a nice gesture and all!
