Chinese New Year is celebrated with firecrackers (a fantastic invention if one can get their hands on them), lion and dragon dances. A reunion dinner is held on Chinese New Year’s Eve where members of the family, near and far, get together for a celebration.

my dads mother lives in taiping so all the rellies gathered there and we had dinner at Kum Loong
