Have you heard about Bite Me Burger Co? Bite Me Burger Co (340 Oxford St, Paddington) is a sexy burger chain that opened its first store a coupla months ago and has most recently been the centre of controversy having been kicked from its darlinghurst site 2months before it was supposed to open. Man thats harsh!

signage

Insides. Notice the wall hehe ‘making the world a burger place’ lol i loved all the details about the place but oh how i hated the communal table! i dont mind sitting next to a stranger but not if i have to sit face to face with them while eating i hate watching people eat!

The area inside is tiny which is probably why alot of people ordered their burgers for takeaway but there was no room to stand to wait for your order… Check out the huge salt and pepper grinders with a little tomato sauce pot! Our moist towel said “wipe me” and our cutlery “hold me” and our burgers? “eat me”

Wagyu Truffle ($17) – Premium Wagyu beef burger flavoured with truffle; caramelised onions, a grilled portabello mushroom & rocket. Notice how the menu says “flavoured with truffle”? I fell for the trap when i saw the word truffle and when the burger arrived it smelled fantastic especially with the extra swiss cheese and king island brie i asked to be added hoho i love my cheese! Also burgers can be ordered without the top bun which is what i shouldve done becos i didnt come close to finishing my burger and you can also get your burgers NAKED lol so no bread for you!

hehe 2nd shot of my burger lookit the river of gooey melty cheese! It is quite possible that the drowning of my burger in cheese meant i couldnt find any lifesigns of truffle flavour let alone the onions but the portabello mushroom was awesome! i used to hate mushrooms but ever since i tried truffles its like i cant get enough of mushrooms!

4 Minibites ($19) – Bloody Mary, Beef Burger, Pluck Me and Lambtastic. Noods ordered the minibites becos he likes his food to be of different sizes and wanted to try a variety of the burgers which is a good idea for the greedyguts and for those whose tastebuds get bored easily [coughnoodscough].

Another photo of the miniburgers! The Bloody Mary came with a shotglass of tomatoey tobascoey sauce and a stalk of celery to smear the sauce on your burger which seemed like a novelty at first but its tops if you like to control the amount of sauce on your burger. The Beef Burger was ok not as good as my wagyu, the Pluck Me grilled corn fed chicken breast was tender and super tasty under the king island brie and cranberry sauce but the standout of all the burgers was the Lambtastic! You cant say lambtastic without adding an exclamation mark because it really was Lambtastic! A juicy lamb burger with grilled haloumi [drools] that burger is definitely a reason to return

Trolley of chips ($4). heh isnt the trolley so cute? im sooo using that idea for fish and chip night. The amount of thick cut fries covered with huge flakes of salt didnt look like much in the trolley but we were so full from the burgers we barely ate half!

What a cute trolley! I’ve been meaning to visit this place. Will keep the lamb burger in mind when I do. Or the wagyu burger.. without all that extra cheese! :P
— Y Oct 10, 11:57 PM #That looks so good. I hate watching and listening to people eat too, especially when you are eating something as messy as a hamburger! Hopefully there is a park nearby..
— Susan Ford Oct 11, 11:29 AM #the trolley is soooo damn cute!
— nadnut Oct 12, 02:03 AM #WAH! trolley of chips! they look like nice chips too. can’t say the same about the insipid ribbons of lettuce in the burgers…
— bowb Oct 14, 06:24 PM #courtney: lol pimping your couponalbum website!
— chocolatesuze Oct 22, 11:42 AM #rosha: i like my dairy mmm
y: the trolley is tiny and on the menu if u want the large it comes in a bowl and not a larger trolley hehe i reckon the lamb over the wagyu
susan: if you go on a sat you can take the burger to paddington markets theres a grassy area nearby
nadnut: i reckon! ive got a slightly bigger one at home holding my junk food haha
bowb: i hate iceberg lettuce! BAH with all the effort of the other burgers and they let them down by using iceberg!
