Happy Chinese New Year! i wish you all good health and prosperity for the year of the rat!


of course whats chinese new year without yeesang? yeesang is a chinese salad with strips of raw salmon, thinly sliced vegetables, peanuts, jellyfish and sweet sauce. This yee sang is from makan @ alice when we were invited for a special family dinner yumyum


lo hei! raising good luck for the start of the new year mmm


and at flemington there was the colouful lion dance with the hypnotising beat of drums and cymbals and the ear spliiting firecrackers

Come visit me at the markets! I will be at the City of Sydney Hawkesbury Harvest Markets Friday 21st November 10am-2.30pm selling biscotti and shortbread (sometimes i hide under the table so ask where i am)

argh i wont be at the city of sydney markets again because the Good Food Affare is on at Castle Hill Showground. entry via Doran Drive, off Carrington Rd, Castle Hill. When: Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd November, 9am-6pm
