so its been a while since ive been to the macquarie shopping centre and a whole lotta shops have sprung up such as the The Great Bagel & Coffee Co (top level near the cinemas)

the system is you order and pay at the front and then take your bagel with you to whereever you want to sit. so make your way past the neon orange squishy stools at the communal table, squint at the bagel board where numerous bagel suggestions sit in rows or peer into the glass cabinet housing all your bagelly ingredients and make your own

i made my own. haha its pretty much the salmon bagel they have on display but mine is: a poppyseed bagel toasted with brie cheese, smothered in cream cheese, smoked salmon slices, snow pea sprouts and cranberry jam hehehe i like cranberry jam its like an excuse to eat jam at lunch…

noods got a turkey bagel but wasnt too impressed i think because he doesnt actually like the bagel. he has issues with non sliced bread products lol the bagels were a tad expensive they worked out to be $17 total for both of ours but im assuming mine costs more becos of all the added stuff but boy are they filling!
Back to home
Now were talking I have been lloking for Bagels for the past 3 days and I can’t seem to find a real bagel Cafes have normally the blueberry and the plain but not the real bagels with all the fillings you desire… Thank you for helping a poor kiwi girl out in locating bagels in sydney if your ever in nz look up holy bagels there the best :)
— Candice Craft Apr 5, 11:13 AM #candice craft: hey dude yeah i like making up my own filings its more fun that way! theres also a bagel co out in rouse hill shopping centre
— chocolatesuze Apr 7, 02:28 PM #Yeh the one at Rouse Hill sux though, I tried to get a bagel at 4.10pm and they said they turned off all the equipment (they close at 5.30pm) Fair enough if it was like 5.25pm or something but I think that’s unacceptable.
— Ben Jun 27, 05:30 PM #I was longing for a great bagel, then much to my delight found the Greatest bagels right here at The Great Bagel & Coffee Co
