so the past week has been a bit of a killer. normally i look forward to birthday week (haha yes week) but ive been up to my ears in biscuits, organising 2 bday dinners, attempting to organise my engagement party and when i was colouring the icing on my cake i dropped a whole bottle of food colouring. pillar-box red. on white tiles. and then i dropped 5000 hama beads over my unironed hama board. [sigh]


and then a trip to adriano zumbo to procure another wheely good also included ‘da bomb’ a chocolate sabayon mousse, peanut butter mousse, filled with a centre of runny caramel, rolled in chocolate and peanuts (8.95). sadly he melted on the trip home bah next time i come prepared with an esky and some ice packs!


but all was not lost for some macarons were also bought and ah how i loved the blueberry macaron with its ribena like flavour it brought a smile to my face and the rose macaron tasted like ice kachang! a flavour familiar to all malaysians wonderfully fragrant and sweet. the mandarin and the chocolate were for baz, the macaron connoisseur


and the lovely fiona got me a cupcake ring! i was in love with bowb’s teacup ring but i loooove my cupcake ring hee now i need matching cupcake jewellery!

1. Aww the ring looks very cute on your finger! I reckon it beats the one Noods got you ;) Hehehehe

   I had so much trouble deciding which ring to get you cos they were all so adorable. But still the cupcake ring is the cutest and suits you the most ;)

   Anyways glad you like it and I’m looking forward to your engagement party! Don’t stress yourself out over it though! And let me know if you need a hand with anything :)

5. aww… the cupcake rings looks great! i thought of you when i was at the market, looking at the entire table of pastry rings. and yes, it was very hard to choose.
