lol lol lol seriously is the dumbest allergy warning you’ve seen? the eggs from testco in ireland comes with a warning: “Allergy Advice: Contains egg.”

This just goes to so the shear paranoia caused by a litigeous society. Who in their right mind could sue someone in court for a runaway egg allergy because there wasn’t a warning that a carton of eggs contained, well, eggs.
I would now be more concerned about getting a carton of eggs from that store that didn’t have the warning, as then I wouldn’t know if it contained eggs or not!
— Simon Aug 19, 07:14 AM #Hehe. At least it didn’t say “contains nuts” :)
— shez Aug 19, 09:39 AM #I would love see a lawyer trying to argue in court about an egg carton which didn’t have this warning on it. HAHA hilarity!
— Steph Aug 19, 11:08 AM #lol’ed in lecture.
— D Aug 19, 11:20 AM #Haha there are sites dedicated to stupid signs/notices hee hee must be cos someone sued them for having egg in their… eggs?
— FFichiban Aug 19, 10:51 PM #You’d be surprised at people who would think there’s something else in them ;)
— jean Aug 21, 08:25 PM #HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
— Trisha Aug 22, 10:25 AM #I think it’s an EU requirement. If you buy a packet of peanuts in the UK, it has the disclaimer: “may contain nuts”. Well, I should hope so!
