Malaysia part 6, Chuai Heng banquet dinner

14 May 2010, 00:29

HAI. i promise a non Malaysian post on Monday i swear! So anyways we had a dinner banquet for all the rellies who couldn’t make it to Sydney for our wedding at Chuai Heng (231 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100, KL)

Lobster Special Five Mixed Combination

Shark fin soup. i’m not really a fan of shark fin soup. Actually i don’t really like soup unless it’s potato soup..

Roasted whole suckling pig with jellyfish. Pig is a magical animal. Crispy crackling skin and juicy porky innards

Braised Sliced Abalone and Fish Maw with Mushroom and Vegetables. Abalone is awesome. It’s like chewy but soft at the same time..

Pan fried Sea Prawn. i don’t remember eating this. Um.

Steamed Fresh Pomfret Fish. i super love this fish with its firm flesh

Fried rice. i think i was much more interested in the shredded egg ribbons atop the rice. i like eggs.

Sweetened Glutinous Rice Dumplings and Sweetened Hot Soya with Red Bean and Lotus Seeds. Wasn’t a fan of the desserts haha but that was ok cos we went back to the hotel and ate our body weight in mangosteens

Da family

Yuuuumm Siiiing!

Lols the boy and i are true aussies hoho

Btw if anyone has had their hair straightened for 5 years perming is probably not the best idea…

  15. Your Malaysian posts are seriously making me miss home! I haven’t been to Chuai Heng in quite a while. The steamed fish is also ALWAYS my favourite meal at a wedding banquet!
