brb kids. the boy had a crazy allergic reaction to an antibiotic and we had to spend a long, miserable 12 hours in the emergency room at westmead hospital. and that was after spending 5 hours in the freaking cold waiting room surrounded by sick people which unfortunately has resulted in me being sick too booo. the up side noods is much better and will be staying away from antibiotics. side note: ambulances smell like a mixture of coffee, red bull and antiseptic. strangely comforting.
Back to home
ugh you SO don’t need that.
— Fiona Oct 9, 11:54 AM #That sounds frightening! Im sorry to hear that you are sick but glad to hear that noods is better. Im sending you all my best wishes for a speedy recovery xoxo
— Katie Oct 9, 01:38 PM #Hope Noods is better, Suze
— thang @ noodlies Oct 9, 06:30 PM #Trust a food blogger to link ambulance smells to something edible! Have never been in an ambulance to the best of my recollection but will make a mental note to think about the smell if I ever am. Glad you’re both recovering. I hate antibiotics too!
— Gummi Baby Oct 9, 08:26 PM #Hope noods is feeling better now!
— Arlene Oct 10, 11:40 AM #That makes sense. I work in an ER and it smells the same, probably because caffeine and antiseptic are the two things we healthcare professionals use the most ;)
— Steph Oct 10, 02:28 PM #Ooooh so that’s what happened! That’s terrible :( Glad to hear your hubby is ok, and hope you get better real soon x

— Gianna@TheEmptyFridge Oct 11, 03:09 PM #I was at Westmead like 2 days before you! Which would be a lot less surprising if it was a normal hangout place like a mall or whatever. Hope you guys are in great shape by now!
