I love love the Christmas editions of food magazines and the free ones that coles gives out! I love planning my christmas feast from those magazines! BTW that tree looks amazing all lit up!
— Carly Nov 24, 01:30 AM #I’m out of this one since I’m in the states, but DUDE, that is so freaking epic!
I would replace my traditional mini-tree with this. Although I don’t have to ever worry about eating my traditional tree…
— Albany Jane Nov 24, 02:23 AM #I love Christmas but I never really get to celebrate it with my family since we live so far apart and so I never really put up a Christmas tree. But this Christmas tree would definitely would boost my Christmas spirit!
— Helen Nov 24, 02:36 AM #Wow! So cool. My favorite part of Christmas is sitting in the living room with my family in front of the Christmas tree with all the lights off except the tree lights, eating christmas cookies, drinking hot chocolate, and listening to Christmas music.
— sara Nov 24, 04:56 AM #My favourite part of Christmas is being allowed to be super cheesy and dorky all the time and no one can say a thing about it! Cheesy Christmas tees? bring it on!
— Kristy Sayer Nov 24, 07:57 AM #My favourite part is spoiling my nephew rotten. Or it will be now that he can rip open the paper! :D
— Fiona Nov 24, 08:44 AM #My fav part of Christmas is that late afternoon snooze when everyone has eaten too much and opened all the pressies, nanny nap is the best!
— Eunnie Nov 24, 09:17 AM #My favourite part of Christmas is that it is the only day it’s acceptable to eat Chocolate for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner…and in-between.
— Amber Nov 24, 09:19 AM #LED lights as well. now that’s cool! My favourite part is going shopping with the family at Sydney Fish Markets for fresh seafood and then all sitting down together for lunch and spending Christmas together :-)
— Simon Food Favourites Nov 24, 10:00 AM #The best thing about christmas is the amount of food you are allowed to eat, without thinking about the calories… Its christmas and it’s okay to gain weight during this holiday. Yay!
— Fei Nov 24, 10:15 AM #oh my! i love the fact it lights up!! tres cool! best part of xmas: is not the christmas carols (which i hate), not the mad rush of xmas shopping (which I don’t mind), not the fact the shops close and I need to stock up on groceries (which i hate).. but the best part is that the family gets together for a hearty meal(s) and not long after xmas is chinese new year and the eating really never stops! heart attack….
— kewpie Nov 24, 10:16 AM #WOW! That thing is awesome! My fav part of Christmas is abit cliched, but I love being with the family and seeing everyone’s happy smiling faces. It’s the one time of the year where everyone can forget their worries and enjoy the joyous occasion that is Christmas, even if you’re not religious!
— Winnie Nov 24, 10:18 AM #I love a traditional aussie xmas – pressies, indulge in a massive feast (seafood, cold meats & salad, BBQ), a swim in the pool & of course the nana nap in the afternoon.
— Melanie Nov 24, 10:23 AM #That thing looks like the shiz!
— Matthew (masterchef) Nov 24, 10:24 AM #Spending the day with family/relatives and at the end of the day, all adult relatives are either drunk and still drinking or pezzed out on the couch snoring way too loudly. While the littlies are watching a movie or playing with their new gifts making bets on who will pass out next.
— Jennie Nov 24, 10:39 AM #I always throw a tree decorating party on the first Sat of December, everyone brings an ornament and gets one to take home so I have stacks of lovely friend memories hanging on the tree. Last year in lieu of ornaments we all made origami paper cranes and I had a red and gold crane themed tree! So much fun!
— Shann Nov 24, 11:01 AM #I love the atmosphere of Christmas, the food and the happy people that surrounds you. The shopping, the gift giving and the gifts.
— Raymund Nov 24, 11:46 AM #Actually, my favourite part of Christmas is the fact that it gives me holiday time to clean up around the house to get ready for New Years Eve! Ah, the joys of never having to host Christmas at my place because it’s too small xD
That Ferrero tree is awesome! Did you get one for yourself too?
— Tim Nov 24, 11:55 AM #christmas is all about family! i love spending it with family, eating, drinking, laughing and most of all – stuffing myself with food and alcohol.
— gastronomous_a Nov 24, 11:58 AM #love that the tree lights up :)
My favourite thing about Christmas is the food – everything just tastes better on Christmas Day, probably because we all pitch in and help to make it really special.
The stuffing in the turkey is homemade (instead of coming out of a box), the potatoes are roasted in fat (rather than a quick drizzle of olive oil), there are handmade sweets everywhere, we make cocktails and trifles and puddings and custard – all from scratch. The effort that people put into making a meal for the whole family (and then sitting down to eat together) makes the day the most special in the year.
— Sally Nov 24, 12:09 PM #Hi Suze!
— Gianna@TheEmotyFridge Nov 24, 12:10 PM #So nice to have seen you the other day at Zumbo!
Okay you will probably judge me but my fave part about Xmas is being able to play Mariah Careys christmas album on full blast and sing my heart out! I would do that in july if my neighbours didnt think i was a nut job! love this centerpiece!
It lights up! You’ll never be without backlit chocolate again!
(My favourite part of Christmas? Watching everyone else open their presents – gives me such a thrill!)
— shez Nov 24, 12:12 PM #The part where we are playing celebrity head and I’ve given people either world leaders from obscure countries, or a random actor. The game ends with someone finally realising they can see their reflection in a window, which is about the time the dog figures out how to get up on a chair to eat left overs and begins to ho into sausages and slices of beef. Which then results in people getting up and attempting to remove the dog from the food but just manages to spill it everywhere. Luckily, the pudding with brandy butter appears at that moment to save the day!
— Pip Nov 24, 12:14 PM #my favourite part of christmas would be shopping for presents and wrapping them too. i think its so much fun trying to figure out what to buy, and even if it can get a bit stressful its worth it in the end. even better when youre trying to find joke gifts
— alice Nov 24, 12:24 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is Christmas morning – it starts with mimosas, brekfast of ham off the bone and buttery english muffins, followed by going through our Santa stockings (even tho I’m 35 now, I still get a stocking from Santa!) and usually, quite a few more mimosas!
— mel_b_angel Nov 24, 01:10 PM #Christmas is the most magical time of the year and it brings love and peace to everyone. The way it takes over the media with its outlandish celebration, the decorations, music and joy that is in the air! My favourite part is to see my son’s eyes twinkle with excitement and anticipation with Christmas around the corner. But most of all it’s Christ’s birthday and also a celebration of God’s love for us.
— Vero Nov 24, 01:24 PM #My favourite part of Christmas has to be the food – we always have a laid back day – the kids open their presents, then into the champagne for breakfast with eggs benedict, or french toast, and then its a casual cuisine ride for the rest of the day, usually an prawn salad of some kind for lunch, then ham and roast meat for dinner. We just eat when we are hungry again. I love it!!!
— Cate Nov 24, 01:25 PM #The best part of Christmas is when all the little kids, counsins, nieces, nephews, aunts. uncles, mums, dads and siblings gather around the Christmas tree at 11:50 eyeing out the pile of presents and eagerly look for their name hoping to see it on the big presents. once 12 o’clock strikes with big smiles on our faces we dig in as well did at the dinner table =) love Christmas such a festive time of the year!
— Joanne Nov 24, 01:34 PM #I love how Christmas brings out the best in everyone. Typically neurotic shop assistants become cheery and overly helpful (even adding an occasional hum along to Harry Connick Jnr’s Christmas album for good measure), butchers throw in an extra sausage or two just because they’re feeling generous and people say things like “Hey how you doing buddy, Merry Christmas!, have a good one” etc etc. with blatant disregard as to whether they know who they’re speaking to or not (lol I’ve seen my Dad do it for years)…oh, and what would an Australian Christmas be without a nanna nap after a little too much champagne and seafood at lunchtime!?
Em TheFoodRookie
— Em TheFoodRookie Nov 24, 01:57 PM #HOHOHO! Christmas time is the best time to eat all the delicious yummy desserts and food with my loved ones. To share that joy, while chit-chatting, laughing and eating! I love it because I can eat whatever I want without feeling too guilty from over indulging!
— Mae @ PassionateMae Nov 24, 02:40 PM #Christmas with my family and 7 dogs. Yeps that’s a lot!
oh and I forgot.. calories… The best thing about christmas is calories.
— katie Nov 24, 04:04 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is baking for family and friends. I love giving Christmas themed cookies, macarons, gingerbread men and houses etc. There is nothing like home-baked goods to spread the Christmas spirit. This tree would make an ultimate eye-candy centre-piece for a Christmas party!
— sascha Nov 24, 04:21 PM #The best thing about Christmas is the little voice in your head that tells you not to eat, silently turns off giving you the ability to stuff your mouth full of turkey, seafood, gingerbread men, candy canes and pudding.
— Leilei Nov 24, 04:29 PM #Christmas wouldn’t be the same without my father’s Scottish tradition of having hot homemade sausage rolls on Christmas Eve, irrespective of sometimes 40+ heat. It’s almost sadistic sitting in the wilting heat eating sausage rolls, but I can’t imagine Chrissy without it now.
— Kate Nov 24, 06:28 PM #Great giveaway suze!
— Gastronomy Gal Nov 24, 07:16 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is catching the red-eye flight back home and looking forward to spending precious quality time with friends and love ones! (It’s hard living in an International family, where everyone lives all around the world….)
— Clara Nov 24, 08:07 PM #That is awesome :)
— Cate Nov 24, 08:50 PM #But don’t the LED lights melt the chocolate? Or are LED’s the ones that don’t heat up… I can never remember.
Best thing about Christmas is BOXING DAY :) :) :)
— Laura Nov 24, 09:13 PM #Leftovers om nom nom
O.M.GEEEE!!!! you had me at Christmas and chocolate but when I saw it light up, I think my heart skipped a beat. Iv been trying to convince Stud to put up our tree since September haha. My favourite thing about Christmas is organizing and cooking the menu and spending it with family and friends
— Nic@diningwithastud Nov 24, 10:41 PM #Christmas is the only time of year (except NYE, hmm cough) that you are able to make an excuse out of everything – cause it’s simply christmas.
Want to eat another serving of christmas pudding? You’re forgiven.. it’s christmas. Can’t be bothered taking out the trash? Don’t worry about it.. it’s christmas. Feeling guilty about not going for that run? Dude, remember it’s christmas.
— Pinnacle Nov 25, 02:14 AM #I wants it! I wants it!
My favourite part about Christmas is Christmas morning. The look of wonder on the kids faces is priceless. Plus I get to eat mince pies (and chocolate!) for breakfast :)
— shaz Nov 25, 02:23 AM #no entering the competition for me le sigh but i LOVE Ferrero Rochers… but you know what I love MORE than Ferrero Rochers?? Rafaelos! OMGYUM!
— catty Nov 25, 06:33 AM #that is soooo cool!! Ferrero Rochers are the bomb! My favourite part of Christmas, the feeling of happiness, joy and warmth which reminds me that there are still good things in this world :)
— Rhonda (The Dainty Baker) Nov 25, 09:22 AM #This is gorgeous! My favourite part of Christmas is just that feeling you get when you start hearing carols and seeing houses lit up. Makes me feel like I was five years old again :)
— Rebecca Nov 25, 10:12 AM #My favourite will be a month before the christmas, playing Rudolph The Rednose Reindeer and decorating the Christmas Tree with everybody at home. :)
— jojo Nov 25, 12:31 PM #My favourite part of Xmas is getting to eat so much food that I am completely stuffed & then doing it all over again by eating the leftovers on Boxing Day… until I lose the battle & can’t fit anymore in. I just like the laid back Aussie Xmas not worrying about anything & enjoying the days off work!
— nuta Nov 25, 02:05 PM #Hmmm I’d have to say the smells.. the fabulous scents of The Tree, the cinnamon, spice, ham (oh GOSH, the ham), chocolate, ham, new wrapping paper, the ham…
— Lulu Nov 25, 06:35 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is gift-giving! Its a good feeling to be like Santa and share your blessings to your family, friends and even just acquaintances!
— Lady Nov 26, 11:23 AM #My two brothers and I always give each other a box of Ferreros for Christmas, no joke. It started when someone gave one of my brothers a box and my other brother and I inhaled them hehe. So the next year without consulting each other we all bought Ferreros so we’d at least be able to eat a few…it’s a small indulgence that really brings us together, since there’s a big age gap and not a lot in common, apart from our love of hazelnut and chocolate lol
— Alissa Nov 26, 12:46 PM #My favorite part of Christmas has to be the gorgeous flurry of activity just before lunch is served. All the anticipation of the morning building and building with everything waiting to get to the table…. the non-cooks pouring drinks and having their hands smacked away from the prawns and salads, the cooks rushing round fighting for counter space, putting the finishing touches on their dishes.
My absolute favorite part, though, has to be the finish-line hurdle – like puzzle pieces slotting into place, everyone finishes their dishes and is immediately handed a brimming glass of champagne and one of those dodgy wrapped chocolate tree ornaments. Whoever finishes last has to take a shot of incredibly awful homemade rum so there’s always a race between the final two.
The food’s always great and the presents and company are just wonderful, but for me that last twenty minutes are easily the best part of Christmas.
— Kate Nov 27, 12:16 AM #My favourite part of Christmas are all the Christmas parties I get to attend, one for work, one for family, one for friends…it’s a month of party heaven for me since I’s a social butterfly, the busiest time in my social calendar
— joyjoyc Nov 27, 02:13 AM #My favourite part of Christmas is remembering why we celebrate Christmas. It’s a simple reason, because the joy of Christmas with Jesus birth, brings the coming of Easter and the hope for a much better future beyond today. =) It’s a future where everyday will feel like the Christmas buzz, celebrated with good family and friends and instead of a tree ~ as cool a tree as it is ~ a never-ending smile will light the day =D Merry Christmas!
— Vanessa Nov 27, 02:28 AM #My favourite part of Christmas….
— Ming Nov 27, 07:50 PM #The chance to spend more time with my family. That is the one day in the year where we get to gather together, exchange tales of our lives, catch up with the whole year news and DO NOTHING… no mobile phone, work emails or television for distraction.. I love Christmas :)
My mums cooking is my favourite part of christmas. And sneaking downstairs in the middle of the night to steal gingerbread cookies
— kristine basnett Nov 27, 11:19 PM #I love everything about Xmas: Secret santa at work, work Xmas party, the lights and decoration in all streets and shops, the food and carols. Christmas is a time when you can be around your loved ones. Also, you can buy and receive great gifts.
— Cyndie Nov 28, 02:09 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is being woken in the middle of the night to the sound of Santa’s sleigh landing on the roof with a loud thud…..In the stillness of the night I hear the sound of his big black boots clomp, clomp, clomping on the roof……I hear him climb the chimney, huffing and puffing as he goes, Listening carefully I hear a grunt as he squeezes himself into the chimney cavity and I wait for the gentle thud as he lands in the fire place…..he sets about his work, scattering gifts under the tree filling the room with the spirit of Christmas…..
I hear him open the stubbie of beer which has so lovingly been left for out him…he mumbles something about keeping the fruit cake and cookies for the reindeer……Finally I hear a “whoosh” as his trusted reindeer take him off to his next point of call, in the distance I hear a jolly laugh and a Ho Ho Ho.
I lay in my cosy bed so excited I could explode, in my wish list to Santa I asked for a ♥Ferrero Rocher Christmas Centrepiece, I wonder if my wish has been granted…….
I just hope the Jolly Old Fellow doesn’t get pulled over for flying under the influence.Ahhh…the Magic of Christmas….♥
— Elizabeth (ejay) Nov 28, 05:21 PM #Would this not be the PERFECT excuse to keep piles of Ferreros on hand !! “oh yeah I bought 24 packets cos I need to make sure I have enuff for the tree, nom nom nom nom nom’
— kate chappelow Nov 28, 08:37 PM #I love Christmas for a very selfish reason. This is the time when I feel good about myself. Reason: I will be lavished with praises about my wonderful cooking.
As a full time housewife, my daily cooking was accepted with smiles, sometime with complaints but never with compliments. In turn, I would never try to cook anything new or exciting. Christmas is the only time when I will unveil the “Nigella Lawson/Martha Stewart” goddess in me (). Time seems to pass in slow motion when I am baking my Christmas cookies, swirling my chocolate pudding, roasting the Christmas turkey and experimenting with various sauces and dipping. I derived so much enjoyment from looking at polished plates of my family and friends and the admiration in their eyes.
— Lian Nov 28, 09:03 PM #The best part about Christmas is the Christmas shopping for your friends and family, house decoration to enhance the coziness and preparation for Christmas dinner and chocolate pudding.
— Michelle Nov 29, 06:43 PM #My favorite part of Christmas would have to be late afternoon on Christmas Day- with the family all full to bursting on a ridiculously overindulgent lunch, we lie around in the loungeroom and snooze and chat about the day – the dramas, the pressies, the food, the crazy cousins, etc. And, of course, no matter how much everyone has already eaten, there is always room to snack on chocolate and candy canes. :)
— Lauren Nov 29, 11:28 PM #Watching the twinkle in the eyes of my grandchildren as they open their presents. Their look of awe and joy is the best present I can have for Christmas.
— Andrea Nov 30, 09:02 AM #My favourite part of Christmas is spending the morning watching my dogs open their presents, it is their favourite day of the year!
— Sam Nov 30, 09:55 AM #My favourite part is how Christmas day feels like some sort of parralell universe. Everyone, whether they’re family or strangers, has the same understanding and there’s just something special in the air.
— Nicola Cammell Nov 30, 11:19 AM #My favourite part of Xmas is standing in front of a supermarket wearing a santa suit, ringing a bell and wishing everyone a happy Hanukkah lol!
— Brittany Nov 30, 11:26 AM #I love christmas eve when the kids go to bed tingling with excitement about Santa coming and you have to get them to sleep but they can’t as the joy’s leaping out of them. It’s the most special thing ever.
— Delyle Norris Nov 30, 03:04 PM #Christmas breakfast, just the immediate family enjoying pancakes with fresh berries, cream, and a glass of champagne
— Carrissa McNamara Nov 30, 03:31 PM #My favorate part of Christmas is that everyone seems so peaceful and content.
— Brian Nov 30, 03:32 PM #I love the quiet time after Christmas lunch when everyone has eaten and drunk just a little too much and is in need of an afternoon nap!
— Melissa Nov 30, 04:30 PM #my favourite part of christmas is seeing the tree all lit up and spending time with the family all full on christmas turkey!
— ben hirst Nov 30, 05:03 PM #The best part of christmas is eating from the time you get up to the time you go to sleep. Desert for breakfast, there are no rules.
— Brendan Harmon Nov 30, 06:07 PM #My fav part of Christmas is about 10pm Christmas night when all the chaos & excitement is over and you can sit back with a glass of wine & some choc & just enjoy the memories of the day.
— Melysa Judd Nov 30, 06:51 PM #Christmas is the most favourite time of the year
— Melanie Nov 30, 06:52 PM #I’m so excited cause it’s so so so near!
I love the fact the family gathers around the tree
and I’m looking at all the presents & cry out “wow all for me?!”
I love the fact everyone is so close & happy,
although when waiting for the delicious food..we do tend to get snappy.
Christmas food is when the family takes a lot of time to make,
my speciality is my cheesy potato bake.
We gather around the table to wine & dine,
eating our family favourite- lamb with rosemary & thyme.
Okay so this poem sounds a little funny,
but let’s all pray that Christmas is all nice and sunny!
I’m going to end this by raising my beer,
and say “Thank you, Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!”
All of it, holidays, food, presents, family how do you choose a favourite – they are all my favourite
— Budztibz Nov 30, 07:21 PM #Family, christmas dinner, presents & thanks if all that can happen
— Debra Nov 30, 08:50 PM #C – Carol Singers
— Vanessa Nov 30, 08:59 PM #H – Holly
R – Rudolph the Red nose Reindeer
I – Icing on Christmas cake
S – Santa Clause
T – Tinsel on the Christmas tree
M – Mistle Toe
A – Angels
S – Snow Man
christmas is the time where you either splurge on presents or avoid it all together by organising a holiday or even better locking yourself in your home so you don’t have to buy your cousin’s, cousin’s nephew’s kids presents…wait for it, “this is my favourite part of christmas”… and end up watching the movie ‘how the grinch stole christmas’ on TV sipping a hot chocolate laughing at how much money you saved but dreading the next time you bump into uncle Jack or auntie Gloria. sigh
— erwin Nov 30, 09:29 PM #Best part about Christmas: CHRISTMAS CHOCOLATES!!!!! Definitely! Hehehe one of the only times I can eat an unlimited amount of chocolate and not feel too guilty :)
— Lindy Nov 30, 11:32 PM #My favourite part of Christmas? I love…

the PRESENCE of Parties,
the PRESENCE of Cheer,
the PRESENCE of Fun,
the PRESENCE of Love
the PRESENCE of Goodwill, Ohhh,
and the PRESENTS…..
My favourite part of Christmas is Christmas Day. Its a special and festive day that we spend with our family.
— rjgoudens Dec 1, 12:22 AM #My favourite part of Christmas is spending time with my family, busting open bon bons reading the lame jokes, watching all the youngins open their presents with extreme excitement, and eating way way too much good food.
— Courtenay Goss Dec 1, 12:29 AM #i love waking up on christmas morning to watch my 2 little kids run to the tree to see what santa left for them
— renee80 Dec 1, 12:30 AM #I love the windup to Christmas day, planning the perfect gift for each relative, hopefully getting them at bargain prices, having our girls here to decorate the tree, planning the menu, all the rellies ‘bring a plate’, but most of all, I cherish the fact that I have a home, good food on the table and family and friends who love me, who are there to share a truly magical time of year with me.
— Julie Luke Dec 1, 01:51 AM #Every year as Christmas nears,

But at the top, past the cds & shows,
Ferrero Rocher is there to impose!
Guilt-free indulgence of gourmet and extravagant treats, delicious!
— Sally G Dec 1, 02:08 PM #After opening presents, driving to the petrol station to get ice to keep the drinks cold.
The streets are always quiet on Christmas Day – there is this warm feeling in the air, you spot kids trying their new toys.
It’s just my favourite time amongst the manic-ness of christmas day to reflect on the important things…
— ceymour Dec 1, 02:11 PM #All the family cooking Christmas lunch together, the fun, laughter, good food and delicious smell is my favorite
— Jessica Dec 1, 02:19 PM #I love Christmas because of the kids. I love their excitement and enthusiasm. I love that the parents enjoy themselves in good company with good food and drink. A very merry occasion for all. The smiles are contagious!
— Yasmine Dec 1, 02:25 PM #I love Christmas and the entire “Silly Season” because it’s THE once a year event where no matter whether you’re deeply religious or not, everyone is equally swept off with the magic of Christmas that is inescapably in the air.
Everywhere you go and see, everyone truly embraces this special event one way or another. From the lovingly decorated homes & converted “Winter Wonderland” garages, to the decorations that adorns even the tinniest shopping centres, workplaces and other public places, to the exciting planning for families/friends gatherings, shoppings, holidaying etc. Best of all, despite the occasional mad-rush stress, Christmas time is undeniably the most exciting and enchanting time of the year and you can truly feel the enthusiastic magic vibes in the air :)
— Kiem L Dec 1, 03:12 PM #My favorite part of Christmas is seeing people cry. Not because they’re sad, because they are overwhelmed with generosity. Giving is the most rewarding thing anyone can ever do.
— Shannen Dec 1, 04:11 PM #My favourite part about christmas is receiving ferrero rochers and sharing them with my family, because we all love them. Especially around THAT tree!
— Christine Dec 1, 05:30 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is gathering with other volunteers to help out at a local shelter for animals – even the fur kids without a family appreciate their special Christmas Lunch, and we get to have a laugh together knowing we are doing good for others. It is so very easy to get wrapped up in our own lives at Christmas and I think it’s really important to take a step back and see who needs a helping hand. Homeless, kids, animals, they are all important and deserve a great Christmas too!
— Diane Gowans Dec 1, 05:39 PM #Of course, afterwards we all enjoy a few beers and the Christmas Spirit!!
my favourite part of chistmas is the fact everyone can let their hair down, relax and finally enjoy themselves after a long year.
— Madeline Pilbeam Dec 1, 05:59 PM #The best part of Christmas is the Gaurantee you will get the best choclates in the Wrold Ferrero Rocher, gauranteed
— Mark Burnside Dec 1, 06:43 PM #You know my favourite part of Christmas used to be about the presents, but now i have come to an understanding that it is clearly about spending time with the people in your life who matter the most! To appreciate every single second with those that love you unconditionally (even the dog and cat)! And there would be no better way to do it, then to sit around and stuff ourselves silly with Ferrero Rocher’s from a magical lit up Christmas tree!
— Amy Franchi Dec 1, 07:20 PM #watching Christmas vacation on TV!!!

I love watching them open their presents, and not fighting for a change,
I love helping them put strange toys together, or unwrapping crazy twist ties from a dolls stomach.
I love the morning coffee I finally get 2 hours later,
I also love sitting in the kitchen just talking with the missus.
I love my friends coming to visit because they feel comfortable enough to do so on Christmas day, (not to get presents, but because they like our company).
I love the afternoon meal which we spread out for an hour or so.
I love having a dishwasher, because doing the Christmas dishes would be a nightmare.
I love watching the quirky movies you get on Christmas day. And lastly, I love it when my older kids say thanks and my younger one goes to bed with excitement in her eyes. She turns and tells me she Loves Christmas, and me and mum too.
I love Christmas from start to end.
My favorite part of Christmas is spending time with my family, it’s probably the only time where my family would actually be together as a family and have a laugh. It’s very special to me because my family means the world to me. I would pick family before anything else and Christmas helps emphasize our love.

With us all grown up now, and living so far apart from each other, and no family of our own yet, it’s hard to all get together at the one place.
— Nicole van Raay Dec 3, 12:03 PM #I love that christmas brings all my family together. With everyone having their own busy lives, its nice to have a time where we can all catch up and remind each other how much we love them. Growing up the centrepieces on our table were always edible and it was hard to resist taking a white chocolate drop of the side of the centrepiece. If i had a Ferrero Rocher tree as my centrepiece i dont think it would last 10 mins before someone (most likely me :) ) would sneak one. Good thing this tree comes with extra Ferrero Rocher chocolates

Guilt free eating for a day

Indulging in the shopping centres attempting to come up with what i want for Christmas
Not having to entertain the kids for a couple of hours until they grow tired of the toys and the food and the cousins…
AND feeding the kids so many sweets that they hopefully decide that they will never eat sweets again and get onto those vegetables (yea right)
Its also wonderful having a different christmas every year so a different type of christmas tree (yes that chocolate one) would make the day so much more special!

I love it! Obviously this is why I do not have children myself as I still have a bit of growing up to do :)

Everyone is placed in teams of two, and all day long you have to compete in games, puzzles and quizes to gain points. There is a massive trophy kept in the lounge room at my Auntie’s house, and every year the team with the most points gets their names engraved on it!! I’m not joking, the Christmas Games have been going for well over a decade now- and let me tell you- to get your name on that trophy is a fight to the death. Me and my cousin won in 2003. Watching my Mum and Dad fighting hard to win each year- is my favourite part of Christmas!

My favourite part of Christmas is hunting down those people and making them pay the present toll!!!… And in order to trap them before the big day I was thinking a Ferrero Rocher Christmas tree may be a fantastically genius idea for bait because who, except the unbelievably out-of-their-minds insane, doesn’t love a Ferrero Rocher.
My favourite part of christmas is heading back to my hometown and seeing my family and friends.. Oh, and all of the FOOOOD!
— Sam Dec 5, 10:03 PM #My favourite part of Christmas is playing games like poker with my family with Ferrero Rochers as the gambling chips!

For the last few years my husband and I have continued a family tradition of driving around and marveling at the spectacular Christmas light displays set up around the neighborhood. This year however I have a new favourite… Singing Christmas carols to my brand new 7 week old baby daughter and placing presents especially for her under the Christmas tree =)
— Kelly Dec 6, 01:25 AM #Christmas is awesome because it is a time of the year that it is completely acceptable to eat chocolate morning, noon and night! Christmas Day revolves around food; we have family breakfasts (nibbling on chockies while cooking), hot Xmas lunches (snacking on chocolate while opening prezzies) and leftover dinners(chased down with chocolates for dessert), and in between we can eat chocolates all day long without anybody criticising us!
— Tracey Tomkins Dec 6, 01:30 AM #Christmas is my most favourite time of the year by a long shot. I love my christmas tree, I love christmas carols, I love the festive spirit, I love buying people presents, the pride I put into wrapping them and the joy I get from giving them to people and most of all I love the time spent with family and friends. Everyone is always so happy. Also who doesnt love presents!
— Katie faint Dec 6, 03:03 AM #Although every year I work on Christmas Day – like a lot of people – I love still gettin up early in the morning with my kids before I go off to work and giving them all their gifts from us and santa of course, eating chocolate and other yummy sweets that you would not normally have, then coming home in the afternoon from work, having a shower, and baking, cooking and setting up dinner with family. At the end of the dinner putting my feet up and chillaxing after a busy but fun day. It’s christmas for me but I wouldn’t change it for the world. To be surrounded by loved ones with good food, fun, that’s what I love about christmas. :-)

My favourite part about Christmas is all of the delicious food that I get to share with family and friends! I would love to be able to afford a yummy gift for everyone to share, but unfortunately I have been unsuccessful in finding work before Christmas, so it’s homemade presents from me this year! I’m just so lucky that I have people around me who love me and don’t care that I can’t afford to buy expensive gifts :)

Since my father’s work accident finances have been tight and every day has been a pressured stress on my family. Christmas Eve and Christmas Day will be the only time of the year where we as a family can forget our worries and feel apart of the Christmas spirit. Merry Christmas to all!

The very best part of Christmas for me is Christmas Eve, our family has a tradition, we all gather and Mum(me) reads “Twas the Night Before Christmas” just before the children go to bed. My Grandmother started the tradition, now I’m passing it on to my Grandchildren. Seeing their little happy faces listening intently is wonderful and surely the best Christmas gift I could receive….as delightful as eating Ferrero Rocher chocolates!
— Cathy Bowdler Dec 8, 03:16 PM #The best part of Christmas is Christmas morning when the kids realise Santa has been! Then half an hour later when they sigh and claim ‘we are bored of opening all these Christmas presents!’

Christmas is my favourite holiday of the year. It’s a time when everybody gets together, shares a drink, enjoys delicious food and share plenty of smiles. I love every minute of Christmas but Christmas lunch is my favourite. Everybody eats, drinks and pops crackers and reads out the ridiculous jokes. It’s my favourite time of the year!
