OH HAI! Drinks ahoy!

Quick post today dudes but here’s a lunch I’ve been having quite frequently near my work area: Thanon Khao San (413 Pitt Street, Haymarket) has an awesome lunch menu with most things under $10 which is freaking awesome. The Khao Moo Krob (Crispy pork belly) served with rice, soup and gravy plum sauce ($8.90) is so delish but yes a little unbalanced on the fat ratio but it’s so tasty yo! And washed down with a (non-alcoholic) beverage of Sappa-Rot (pineapple blend) $3.90

And once upon a time on a visit to Duke’s Bistro (Upstairs of the Flinders Hotel, 65 Flinders St, Darlinghurst) saw the consumption of the fabulous tomato, strawberry, burrata and shiso $18. BURRATA! I HEART BURRATA!

Also, super love to Helen for the awesome xmas package hee jelly cups, crazy flavoured chips, and zomg i needs to buy some white bread to smear the cheez whiz on heh

Love to Billy for the bacon and salted caramels mmm seriously guys the way to my heart is thru food hehe and i am a willing recipient if you wish to donate caramels! I haz issues with the mess of making caramels lol

And ok these aren’t food related but eeee school bus converse shoes!!! i saw them at paul’s warehouse but they didn’t have my size and i cant buy online cos the pauls warehouse website says only in mens size booo
Back to home
oh hai! i reckon you should use the cheese wiz on corn chips or hotdogs. btw i’m expecting you to fill the empty jelly cup jar with alcomohol sometime in the near future. lol
— Helen (grabyourfork) Dec 29, 04:36 AM #Wow!! How great is the pork belly lunch, a real bargin and it looks so yummy.
I love the Jelly cups, the flavours are so bizarre!
— GourmetGetaways Dec 29, 07:41 AM #That strawberry, tomato and burrata salad looks…confusing! Strawberries and tomato? I’ll take your word for it though! :)
— Jen Dec 29, 11:41 AM #I guess that is a Thai dish (Khao Mhoo Grob). Oh I am so making it this week!
— Joe Dec 29, 12:44 PM #I already finished half of my Helen’s stash! LOL
— billy@a table for two Dec 29, 01:23 PM #The Antonio Pueo Chocolate is nice. My mum makes hot chocolate with it and you dip the buttery toast into the hot chocolate. OMG heaven….
— Katherine Dec 29, 01:53 PM #As someone who’s also been on the receiving end of one of Helen’s packages of magnificence, I couldn’t help clapping when I saw your present! Ain’t she just a wonder? :D
— Hannah Dec 29, 03:00 PM #i am so glad that people don’t get fat looking at delicious photos cause that burrata is da bomb!
— lifeis2munch Dec 29, 03:52 PM #Get the bus shoes for Noods instead!
— Wendy @ Obesebaby Dec 29, 05:01 PM #Argh how cute is that bear lollipop jar? I want one. You get all the cool stuff Suze.
Glkfjsljkfa they don’t have my size in bus Converse shoes either. Just one size out. Darn you Paul’s Warehouse!
— Tamz Dec 29, 05:17 PM #Oh lady! It’s 2:36am and now I totally have a hankering for crispy pork belly!! I guess someone will be taking a trip to Chinatown tomorrow… :)
— Stella Dec 29, 07:37 PM #On the topic of men’s sizing regarding shoe wear, add 2 to your current size and that equals a male shoe size. For example, if you are an 8, add 2, which is a 10 in men’s :) So, to figure out women’s sizing, minus 2. If they have a 8 in mens, it is equivalent of a 6 in womens. :) Maybe they have something in your size? Good luck.
— Ashley Dec 29, 08:57 PM #Mmmm pork bellaaaayyy!! Full of fatty goodness. I’m thinking of making it for our New Year’s dinner. Any good recipes to share?
— GenerationFood Dec 30, 11:10 AM #Yumm – that pork belly looks good – must be time to load up on pork fat again – it’s only been a couple of days!!!
— Cate Dec 30, 01:56 PM #I love that thai place! I wish I worked near there, I would be there every day.
