— Steph Jan 24, 09:25 AM #Oh wow – congrats on the article!!
— Lisa @bakebikeblog Jan 24, 09:41 AM #Awsome you made to the news paper. Do you think there is an episode later when you and Noods have kids and the title will be “the life of a food blogger’s kid” hahaha
— Wendy @ Obesebaby Jan 24, 10:01 AM #Wendy – not anytime soon, no :)

— Betty @ The Hungry Girl Jan 24, 11:22 AM #Interesting article, provoking some thought. Exciting to see such a huge picture of you in the Telegragh!
— Vintage Macaroon Jan 24, 11:29 AM #Love it that your wedding photo has made it big time! Pity about the nasty comment at the end, but I guess it’s all a matter of opinion.
— MelbaToast Jan 24, 11:51 AM #awww congrats!! x

— Ellie (Almost Bourdain) Jan 24, 03:25 PM #I had a bit of a rant on Helen’s blog about the article, so here I’ll just say that you look gorgeous, and you’ll be running our country soon, I’m sure. :P
— Hannah Jan 24, 03:33 PM #congrats on being used as the banner! such a cute picture!
however, to an extent,i kind of think he had a point, i am tired of reading glowing reviews and then noting at the end that the meal was sponsored by the restaurant.
— hollypop Jan 24, 07:34 PM #plus it’s boring to read nicey-nicey blogs all the time.
puts me off my food! :P
Aww Suze, nice pics of you and the wedding but obviously the writer had another agenda. Am I the only one who take offence to the implications that most of us are wannabes writers and are out for freebies? Yes, I am an amateur blogger, I love my food, I don’t use flash in restaurant and I vent when it is called for. But unlike the American food critics, I am a nobody but I call a spade a spade! I don’t destroy people’s livelihood over a meal either. I mean wth is Pat Nourse anyway? Pfft!! Never heard of him!
— Jackie B Jan 24, 08:51 PM #Awesome getting your faces (and butts) in the Tele! Did anyone explain to the poor journo that the backs to the camera thing is actually an injoke, hehe!
— Moya Jan 24, 11:37 PM #Hi Susan, I had an awesome weekend, nice wedding pics.
— CeritaSejati Jan 24, 11:59 PM #Congradulations! Looks awesome, and it looks so fresh!
— Jess Jan 25, 10:01 AM #Jess : )
What a lovely wedding picture – as if it was made to be a banner :)
— Shannon Laird Jan 25, 01:07 PM #Awww. looks great Suze. I don’t read the Tele, but going to check out that article now. Yay, you’re even more famous now :)
— shaz Jan 25, 01:56 PM #Congratulations!! Interesting article, but I don’t understand the last part. Maybe someone should sue a blogger…for what?
— Lisa@ButteryBooks Jan 26, 06:06 AM #He sounds a little bit crabby at the end. Plus how many people actually use their flash to take photos of food?
— Daphne Jan 26, 09:58 AM #Congrats! Awesome pic
— Karen (missklicious) Jan 26, 12:23 PM #What an intriguing article – congrats on the mention and larger than life pic! I think you got the good PR parts and escaped the whipping by the sound of it!
— forager @ The Gourmet Forager Jan 27, 03:20 PM #Woohoo – congrats on making it into the paper – you must have been super excited to see it.
The guy’s just probably afraid for his job – there are heaps of bloggers out there that write better than he does. Beside we all don’t do the “review thang!” Sour grapes I taste!!
— Cate Jan 29, 05:56 PM #Hmmmm…… I started my blog for me, not to get an audience. The ride has been fun, but I am not after a free meal nor do I try to upset my fellow diners by using a flash. I like to tell it as I see it.
This is my escape from my real job which needs escaping at times and is my hobby and my pleasure. Plus I have met some awesome people along the way.
Suze well done on the mention and the big pic!!
