Drew & Alicia's Wedding

14 March 2011, 04:28

Hai guys how was your weekend? On Saturday I had the pleasure of attending another fabulous wedding, Alicia and Drew tied the knot over at Prince Edward Park overlooking the sparkling Canada Bay. The bridesmaids rocked on up the red carpet with cheeky smiles to individual songs

The proud father and the beautiful bride

Like sands through the hour glass…

I now pronounce you husband and wife!

Lols we are kids forever

Josh and Noods. So hardcore yo

The reception was held at Maxims Wedding Reception (11 Cross Street, Bankstown) and the night began with cutting da cake which ahem we didn’t get to eat..

But woohoo Suckling Pig! And deep fried mantou buns!

The Seafood Spring Rolls were pretty much JUST filled with prawns much to Noods’ anaphylactic dismay ahaha

And the Seafood Stir Fried Honey Beans came with an overdose of prawns but had hidden nubbins of scallops and crunchy cashews floating beneath the sea of sugar snap beans

Josh scores a bottle of Hennessey and is overcome with emotion…

My portion of Shark’s Fin Crab Meat Soup gets diverted to the boy. Texture issues yo

Super giant platter of Lobster with Braised Ginger & Shallots is attacked and the e-mein noodles demolished

Deep Fried Taro Duck is an interesting combination of texture, crunchy outer breaded layer, smooshy taro middle layer and then tender duck meat on the bottom.

Drew & Alicia’s first dance

Followed by the bridal party’s crazy awesome group dance

Incredibly soft Steamed Fish in Soya Sauce but oh gosh reaching stomach explodey point

Lastly, Chow Mein and Fried Rice.

All da single ladies it’s bouquet tossing time!

Congratulation Drew & Alicia! Here’s to a wonderful life together!
