6.28pm so last night i had this very crazy dream about gremlins... im not scared by the gremlins movies cos i think gizmo is way cute and i always wanted one:

i dreamt he kept multiplying and i had to keep all his little furry offspring away from him and put them in another box or theyll multiply!

i tried out a new recipe for the frosting (i like calling the icing frosting... it sounds better for cupcakes...) since ive never frosted cupcakes before i tried out the recipe from StellaBites and mmm it didnt disappoint!
Vanilla Butter Cream Frosting
1/2c unsalted butter, softened
4c powdered sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1/4c whole milk
1 tsp vanilla
Cream butter until smooth. Add sugar, salt, milk and vanilla and mix until smooth and creamy. Use food coloring to tint the frosting and tada!!!

7.39pm noods' graduation day today! congratulations noods and all of des comp! noods seemed to have misplaced his functional brain today, nearly forgetting to wear a tie, belt and bring a jacket and taking the m2 instead of the m4 and leaving the foto docket at the gown shop... hehe but other than that it was a great day with perfect weather, everyone smilin and best of all there was FREE FOOD!!! mmm those sandwiches and cakes were sexy... heh click here to see fotos!

11.59pm catching up with high school friends mel, wiz and ev at hogs breath cafe in towers was planned and after an amusing car trip with mel complete with kelly clarkson cd on repeat and circling the car park several times we gathered at hogs breath where we found our waitress to be negin! she provided us with much food and we all came to the conclusion that we were getting old when we realised we'd been talking about marriage, kids, buying houses and cars for the past coupla hours... much fun had by all and click here to see fotos!

4.19pm happy 20th lauren!!! glad you liked your cookies hehe laurens lunchies was at adils indian restaurant in castle towers where new friends were made, tall bottles of water were drunk and much laughter had by all!

11.59pm lunchies at cafe casa at towers. i got the salmon fettucine which seemed like it had more salmon than pasta- a first! so it was nice and salmony however it had a bit too much shallots. noods got the chicken and avocado boscaiola which had the most delicious sauce and both pastas came with free garlic bread and a slice of pineapple to get rid of bad breath (and noods just happened to go for the pineapple slice before the garlic bread... lol good one). overall a very generous serving for cafe prices!

tues 12th april
4.35pm so i saw this very sexy foto of a pistachio cake at chika's 'she who eats' and since i LOVE all things pistachio i tracked down the recipe to josh's 'the food section' and set off for a bit of grocery shopping. armed with my ingredients i excitedly chopped, grated and sifted all the while thinking of how delicious the cake would be... as the cake baked and the aroma of roasting nuts filled the house i would dance between looking into the oven window and the washing up. impatiently i waited for the cake to cool before i could put the topping on and finally cut a wedge of cake to taste test before realising the obligatory foto had not been taken. anyways the cake was okayish... i think there was a bit too much butter in it as well as the high fat content in the nuts but hey mmm pistachio... becos i wasnt entirely satisfied with the cake i made chocolate cupcakes and made them into butterfly cupcakes with fresh cream. mmm cream...

11.19pm i just formatted my laptop... my baby was running a little slow lately so off with its head... well not quite. but hmm now im missing all these programs i need...
4.02pm so i got to work at 7.15am this morn all set to be alone in the nice and quiet shopping centre onli to find boss dude emil had alrdy come in. this would normally annoy the crap out of me but today i knew it would be fun. why? becos he bags out all the other staff and i can agree and influence how many shifts the others will get HAHAHAHA serves them right for not doing any work!!!

11.59pm yesterday the juice store gave us free krispy kreme donuts and after heating them up in the microwave at work i had an insatiable craving for all things sweet so off me n noods set off for penrith with my sexy card from rennae which gets me a buy one box get another one for free! and then stopped at castle towers for a lil shopping onli to find a lolly store called sugarfix! theres sections for diff countries like u.s and britain sooo i got the VERY nummy reeses milk chocolate peanut butter cups and noods got some sour lollies as well as a packet of cola lollies and what else? a sexy miniture trolley!!!

11.59pm me and noods went to Rise in darlinghurst for the 9 course degustation menu to celebrate our aniversary. after a very harrowing drive around looking for parking we made our way to the restaurant but couldnt find the entrance... until we saw ppl leaving the place. we were shown our seats and as the other customers started to file inside the food began! (pictures below) from left to right: amuse-bouche: semi poached egg, sea-urchin sauce, salmon roe, shiso.
appetiser: lightly seared wagyu beef tataki, young ginger, guacamole, kochujyan chilli sauce.
soup: sesame scented clear with pan fried crispy snapper, rice cake, yuzu.
sashimi: assorted 3 varieties of today's fresh market sashimi.
seasonal plate: top left: deep fried soft-shell crab tacos RISE style, top right: fresh scampi sashimi, finger lime, fleur de sel, bottom: simmer eel in fresh spring roll, cucumber, creme fraiche.
signature dish: deep-fried "agedashi" organic tomato stuffed with foie-gras.
main course: roasted corn fed chicken with mustard alioli brulee, tarragon, ruby red grapefruit and spanish onion salad.
rice dish: fresh tuna and takana tartare sushi canapes style.
dessert: mixture of fruits in jelly.

7.26pm my bros friend came back from hk and bought him some stuff and this is what my bro fobbed off onto me: a fone accessory of a lil man heh i thought he was cute so i attached him to my fone onli to realise later that it flashes in a certain area whenever i make or receive any calls...

fri 1st april
11.59pm mmm dinner at iso lounge in norwest. the food here is sexy! and they gave us free appertizers cos the restaurant is spankin new. so appertizer i think was rocket and something else (maybe cheese) shots and we ordered the vietnamese scallops for entre which was wonderfully fresh and had a dash of chilli sauce. my main was the blue swimmer crab and king prawn linguine with the crab flesh making its way into every bite i took and the huge king prawns tempting noods even though hes stacks allergic to prawns... noods got the kangaroo fillet mainly becos hes never had kangaroo and i made the mistake of tasting it ("dude this tastes like dog meat! not that ive ever tried dog meat but this is what i reckon it tastes like!") but the portions were huge and we were happy and ordered dessert. i got the lemon cheesecake with lemon coulis and that goldish halo thing is toffee! noods ordered the chocolate fondue which came with orange slices, strawberries, plum, blueberries and peanut brittle (mmm homemade brittle).
