tues 28th june
11.55pm heh woke up at 11 today... watched oprah cos jamie oliver and nigella lawson were cooking sexy sexy food (is it just me but oprah always seems like shes trying to outdo the celebrity guests), ate hungry jacks and tried their sticky date pudding which, for 2 bucks is pretty ok as far as fast food dessert goes, went to campbells cash and carry and picked up a box of cola lollies, watched minority report dvd, watched moulin rouge dvd, fell asleep while watching the behind the scenes extras, woke up just in time for oc, followed by rove and csi, followed by airline usa which made me want to be a flight attendant lol and now its almost midnight and my family is just about to sit down and eat dinner... and for dessert is my 1.35kg box of cola lollies...

11.59pm mmm yum cha... me n noods went to yumcha at towers and these custard egg tarts were PERFECT! fluffy melt in the mouth pastry filled with rich eggy custard. they were a tad small so i ordered several plates heh. and mustnt forget the soybean soup/jelly with the smooth layers of tofu floating in the sugary syrup! (amie does that still sound like im from iron chef lol)

11.59pm its funny how many customers noticed my haircut at work today. but anyways...
haircut pros: doesnt take so long to dry after i shower, i hunch less apparently and i dun have to maintain it as much
haircut cons: kinda look like a boy if i dun put gel, i cant tie up hair if im havin a bad hair day, and i think i look younger
verdict: hmmm...

fri 17th june
11.59pm i didnt bring my beloved digi camera (aka bob) and me n noods went to the lighthouse restaurant (68-80 George Sreet, Parra) for dinner where they had a 3 course dinner menu for $39. i ordered the 'Smoked Tasmanian salmon roll with avocado & straw mushrooms in celery & apple dressing' and DUDE the sauce was so yummy! the sweetness of the apple and the crunchiness of the celery in the sauce was THE perfect combination with the soft salmon encasing the avocado and mushrooms. noods ordered the 'Orange glazed duck tart with rocket salad and orange chutney' which was... weird... im too used to the chinese style dark with skin ala peking duck style... for mains i got 'Fish fillet wrapped in filo pastry with sundried tomato and fresh herbs with coriander and tangy braised red cabbage' which was a bit ho hum becos the fish was soggy and that bright green sauce thats almost neon in colour tasted foul as if the restaurant had used packet mix. noods got 'Rack of lamb with almond and herb crust, kipfler potatoes and rosemary jus' which was BEAUTIFUL! the gravy was perfect in every way and noods gave me the crackling and im like *drool* and dessert i got the 'Sticky date pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and butterscotch sauce' and mmm butterscotch sauce and noods got the 'Homemade tiramisu cake with coffee liqueur' which had a stackload of cream and mmm fresh cream... and yes all the fotos were taken on my fone so thats why theres a weird blue tinge...

11.59pm sometimes i just cant be botherd updating this page cos all i want to do nowadays is just sleep and eat junk food and not go out to restaurants or movies... i blame it on the weather i guess because its just sooo cold but at least my feet are nice and warm in these sexy slippers from macquarie hehe

11.59pm decided i wanted a change of scenery to go shopping so dragged noods out to chatswood and managed to eat at mokotos for lunch which is kinda like sushi train but more sexy and has a huge selection to choose from. the foto below on the left is noods' oyster sushi boat. after lunch i bought some shoes and a tshirt and then we went to max brennars in chatswood chase for some yummy hot chocolate and the BEST CAKE EVER!!! 3 layers of chocolatey goodness!!!

mon 6th june
11.59pm audreys 21st dinner was on sat at costa do sol in petersham! got a lift off john without knowing the name of the restaurant or the address and just directed him to my favourite bakery sweet belem in hopes it would be near by and saw amie, jo and therese walk across the street just as i was feeling lost. i had previously asked audrey if there was going to be cake (cos you know, i LOVE cake) and she said she didnt want to make it a big thing and i was like what! no cake??? so me and john went for a walk looking for bakeries and most were closed (like my sweet belem *sniffs*) but we found one and went to look at their selection of cakes and chose the hazelnut one becos we liked hazelnut (and not becos of audrey hehe) we tried to hide the box on the way back to the restaurant even hiding behind busses, trucks and traffic lights and thought she knew but when they brought the cake out and we started singing happy bday i think she was surprised lol. food was pretty good i liked my fishy nice and crispy! and we got party bags! much fun had by all happy 21st audrey! click here for fotos!

11.01am happy 21st vince!!! vince had his 21st at lava lounge and hired out the whole level (mind you it was the TOP level) and pretty much all of the ppl from nuclear med were there as well as vinces high school friends so the place was pretty packed. me and niloofa got a lift off seth who had driven all the way from wollongong! and the ride there was entertaining... "but the numbers are going down! we were going the right way!" "toolshed? HAHA its called toolshed!" "but north is just straight isnt it?" "wow how did all those cars park the other way?" "its a one way street" and much more but i managed to fall asleep in the car lol. we finally made it even after wrong instructions from stupid hotel concierge and vince managed to introduce me to his mum and sister TWICE. much fun was had dancing the nite away "you sure have alot of energy for a girl that doesnt drink!" lol and stumbled home at about 4am... but happy bday vince! click here for fotos!
