I’ve been waiting alllllll week to go shopping!
But first some breakfast at Nadias in Parramatta. I ordered the banana bread which was nice and warm and toasted but it had such a weird aftertaste that i couldn’t finish it and stole food from noods
He got the big breakfast with extras and the toast was soooo nice and buttery
Then off to Newtown! I love newtown! Maybe not so much for the shopping but more for the atmosphere. It feels like melbourne! With all the cafes and with the ‘different’ people. Wow they were some colourful out there!
My new favourite icecream store! Gelatomassi! So many flavours, so soooo yummy! We got sticky date, pistacchio (ohhhh my sooo nice), lychee, lemon and watermelon. Dudes it was soooo good!
Then off to the Rocks Markets! Stall after stall of shiny jewellery, hippie bags, paintings and aussie souvenirs galore!
I found a sexy jar of mango moisturiser creme and mmm I smell like summer hehe and look at the first ingredient on the back! LOVE
Feeling a tad hungry we ate at Wolfies Restaurant (27 Circular Quay West, The rocks) with a view of this:
For lunch there was a $33 deal where you get a choice of 2 courses so me and noods opted for mains and dessert.
For my mains I ordered BBQ Giant Pork Ribs because I was thinking pfft giant? It’s only a half serve! How giant can it be? And wow how wrong was I?! It must’ve been a mutant pig becos it was so damn huge that I only made it halfway!
Noods ordered Grilled Kangaroo Loin becos for some reason he likes kangaroo hehe
And the dessert! C can always make room for dessert! I ordered Vanilla Creme Brulee and mmm perfect caramelisation! Noods ordered the Bowen Mango with Macadamia Icecream which he unfortunately couldn’t finish and I had to ‘help’ him eat it all hehe
Then lastly to Paddys Markets in Market City where I bought this tshirt which said:

Amie and Jo’s 21st at Wagamama in Parramatta! The theme was yellow and pink for a dolled up Amie who wanted an excuse to wear her preetty dress. Food was eaten, stories shared, hyperventilating occurred (heh hope you liked you speech dude) and much fun had by all!
me and the bday girl
standing: the bday girls jo and amie. sitting: nat and me
We got to choose from a party set menu so me and nat shared our entrees. I ordered the yasai gyoza, fried dumplings filled with cabbage, carrot, chinese leaf, chinese chives and water chestnut, served with a chilli, garlic and soy sauce which kinda tasted like spring rolls in dumpling form and nat ordered the tori kara age, fried chicken pieces prepared with soy sauce, sake, mirin, dried oregano and fresh ginger marinade served with a chilli, garlic and soy sauce; and realli, anything with oregano makes me think of subway bread so i really liked this hehe
My mains of kare lomen with chicken; a spicy based dish made from lemongrass, coconut milk, fresh ginger and galangal, served with ramen noodles. Garnished with chargrilled chicken, bean sprouts, cucumber and fresh coriander. Now i just read the description on the menu and thought hmm that sounds like laksa yay I’ll order that and pointed to it on the menu to the waiter without pronouncing it out loud so imagine my surprise when it arrived and the waiter pronounced it CURRY ramen
lauren, nat and me
lauren had the edamame freshly steamed green soya beans -lightly salted which joke, nat and i were so intrigued with
me and my favourite coeliac lauren =D
If you weren’t wearing anything yellow Amie would come around and stick a bright yellow sun onto you
the nutrition peeps! me, lauren, amie, nat, elline
the uws dudes!
nat and me. And then i started hyperventilating because I’m a lousy public speaker!
the bday girls and amies very sexy cake. happy bday girls! hope you had a smashing time!

EDIT: Closed
What is with the weather lately hey?? One day temp reaches 45degrees and the next it pours! Making me sick man like literally cold and fever sick and it doesn’t help that i have to keep walking in and out of our minus 18 degree freezer. Anyways the crazy humid weather made me and noods feel like eating japanese food so off we went to Tomodachi in Parramatta (new section oh baby oh baby!). We decided not to sit at the sushi train area because they’ve got a pretty large selection in their ala carte menu. We were given complimentary salads but they didn’t really have much taste and it felt as if the vegetables had been sitting in fridge for too long but hey it was free right?
I pretty much like salmon anything so opted for the terriyaki salmon bento ($18.50) and wheeee i like prettily presented food in compartments! (haha i get pleased so easily) the salmon was nice and soft on the inside and sweet and a bit sesame-y on the outside and look i got sashimi! And the mash on the top is like potato and egg mash and for some reason chilled? Which made my mouth confused becos i kept switching from cold mash to hot salmon to cold sashimi but mmm it was sooo good!
Noods got the seafood okonomiyaki ($15.50) and when it arrived he was like dude it looks like its still alive! Sprinkled on top were these paper thin strips that kinda tasted like rice paper but becos the bottom of plate was like a hot pot the paper bits were moving around. Personally i didn’t like it but noods managed about halfway hehe
Dessert I really wanted to go to Max Brennar and have the white chocolate dome but they ran out! Dude was i mad! So ordered the chocolate souffle instead which was kinda like a chocolate volcano cakey on the outside and a river of chocolate ganache inside. Noods got the suckao while i watched him burn himself repeatedly with the straw
Mmm free water WITH ICE! haha i love ice ooh and ended up buying chocolate from max brennar.

EDIT: Closed.
La Seconda (Winston Hills Shopping Mall Shop T64, Caroline Chisholm Drive) is a local Italian restaurant me and Noods go to when we cant be bothered driving far. We’ve only been there a coupla times but 2 of the waitresses already know us and what food we order which was disturbing at first until i came to the conclusion that no other asians went there haha
There’s also this coupon you can get here where you buy one meal and get the second (cheaper) meal for freeee! Which is good cos then you can get dessert!
For mains i got the steak becos dudes the sauce is fantastic and it masks the blooood (noods reckons medium rare is the best for a steak) hehe anyways the prawns are giant and crunchy! And im going thru a rocket phase so mmm rocket (but booo to the brocolli) and noods decided to try the special of salmon with peas and scallops risotto which he kinda found plain. The salmon was nice and soft but the risotto was weird; not much flavour and he ate all the scallops (all 3 of them heh) and didn’t share any with me!!!
Anyways we ordered dessert I’ll have what she’s having which is basically a disc of meringue with slices of banana, 2 giant scoops of honeycomb icecream, topped with a pistachio biscotti and doused in butterscotch sauce and you know anything with butterscotch is automatically classified as super mmm
