(haha zoolander! ) so like under the presentation tab in my default section theres this code: txp:article_custom form=”article” limit=”10” section=”article” sortby=”Posted” sortdir=”desc” / which just limits 10 posts on my front page. my question to you is: how do i make it not limit my posts in archives? becos apparently noods has NO IDEA!

a long overdue catchup dinner with baulko high school peeps was at Kobe Jones (29 Lime Street, King Street Wharf, Sydney) a chain of Californian Japanese fusion restaurants.
We were greeted with a giant IRASHAIMASE! which i always find funny and welcoming at the same time but at this restaurant it quickly became annoying when the aussie waiter kept screaming it even when noone had entered the restaurant
complimentary starter of um carrot and cucumber sticks in a thickish sauce that oddly tasted like hoisin sauce
first up the number 1 special ($7 for one ball). this was uber tasty! Crab Salad with avocado wrapped in snapper and baked with KJ’s cream sauce mmm sure it wasnt real crab more like crabstick but it was still tasty and i lurveee avocado
Sashimi Salad ($16.50)
Sizzling Salmon Sashimi Carpaccio ($15.50) thin slices of salmon drizzled with an infused olive oil and i dont know what it was infused with but it was tasty stuff just a lil on the sweet side
Salmon Dynamite Roll ($13) with a spicy level of 3
Tuna Tataki ($19) Authentic seared tuna served with a tataki sauce
Volcano Roll ($19). Oven baked scallops layered on top of our California roll with sesame seeds and shallot sprinkle mmm this was good but the prices was a little steep and i dont like me scallops chopped in half like i know its to make it look like theres more of em but it feels funny when i eat half scallops like its been eaten alrdy…
Spider Roll ($19). Crunchy soft shell crab with crab salad, avocado and cucumber.
Seared Tuna Steak au poivre with seafood risotto ($29.50). me and noods took one bite of the tuna and go hey this tastes like steak… it was strange but still tasty and the risotto was perfectly cooked each grain plump and juicy
me and noods <3
boey and me HAPPY BDAY DUDEEEE
isa, chu, matty, baz
Dessert Time!
Ama Ozen- mixed platter of Kobe Jones desserts ($26). chu built this up a little too much saying it was huge haha but me and noods scoffed it all down mmm tasty
i cant remember what this was but it was very chocolatey and rich like mousse mmm mousse
Fresh fruit sushi cheesecake with Kobe Jones’ famous Chop Sticks. this was a typical japanese style baked cheesecake which was very rich and creamy the chopsticks were a novelty but there was nothing to pick up…
green tea creme brulee this was sooo goood there was a nice even layer of granulated sugar crystals protecting the smooth custardy goodness and hidden on the bottom were red beans!
black sesame icecream this was ok but not sesamey enough as compared to passionflower
um random cup of strawberries?
Chocolate sabayon on a hazelnut biscuit with a vanilla anglaise this was tasty but the biscuit was a tad hard and i had to stab it repeated times to break it into pieces
thanks for a lovely dinner guys we should meet again soon!
Lindt Cafe Cockle Bay Wharf
Lindt Cafe Cockle Bay Wharf has a beautiful selection of cakes, chocolates, icecream and ooh macarons!
After dinner at Kobe Jones we went for a walk down to the new Lindt cafe on Cockle Bay Wharf
shiny
mmm cakes… i will be back to devour you all just you wait hoho
awww chocolate! im poor! cant afford the pretty babies
hee look at all the balls
me macarons! pistachio, champagne and chooocolate
hee crossection Robyn style! the pistachio and champagne macarons were onli okay tasting they were kinda flavourless but i liked the textures of the crispy shell and innards. the chocolate one was a giant disappointment that was heaps of chocolatey flavour but the shell was rock hard and it felt like i was eating brownie. which is good becos i like brownies but i wanted something that would go floof in my mouth… ill prolly back to get more macarons even tho they werent as mindblowingly good as Cafe Lenotre in Bangkok hmm but i love me macarons

NOTHING [except maybe some lemonade mmm lemonade]
cornutopia hee what a name
corrrrn
oooh buttery corn ($4) with extra butter and salt and pepper and chilli yeah this was tasty but maybe layoff on the chilli it was very spicy [mmm more lemonade]
twisted chips! standing in line at this store nearli made me go nuts as i stood behind a boy who kept swinging his inflated axe to the neverending loop of ‘lets twist again like we did last summer’
but it was worth the wait mmm twisted fries ($6) doused in tomato sauce this was a tad expensive but the serving size was huge man and between me, noods, the mothership and my aunt we were struggling and theres still so much more to eat!
movenpick icecream. look at the hordes
mmm macadamia and maple n walnut so so tasty i miss hagen daz icecream
noods made me walk under the cow to see the udders hehe
animals
bacon. i mean pork. wait i mean ham!
this skeleton was rather freaky it was just sitting in a shed right next to the lamb cutlets…
elvis! hoho so cute
the sign says “200 blue dairy farmer milk crates go missing every hour… this buys a tonne of hay, which feeds 70 cows per day during the drought. so give farmers a break and bring back a crate!
my favourite fruit n veg display. the butterflies MOVED!
me second favourite. artist palette!
my favourite decorated cake mmm sushi by annie lo the same girl who did the yumcha cake last year!
we had earli dinner/late lunchies at i think it was Sydney Royal rill. me ribeye steak ($22.50)
noods’ new york steak ($22.50)

hoho the very last weekend that wonderland was open me and noods tried so very hard but failed to win a stuffed dice and every easter show since then we’ve tried playing different games to win the dice and then this year we stepped up to a ‘poker game’ where you have to roll and aim your 5 balls into the corresponding holes of ace, king, queen and jacks and you play against other people and not the rigged games of the carnies and w00t w00t w00t i won on our very first game lol so we decided to leave straight away and not lose more money haha
me showbags heh all warheads and some good ol bertie beetles!
and of course the bucket of fairy floss to rot more of my teeth
