happy (late) bday to my two fav food bloggers! helen from Grab Your Fork and mei ying from raging yoghurt you guys are my heroes! in honor of you guys here are the cupcakes you missed out on hehe orange poppyseed cupcakes with cream cheese icing with a photoshopped candle!
the cupcakes were tasty altho a tad more dense than i would have preferred but they felt like muffins? healthy muffins? so to make them unhealthy i gave them a dollop of cream cheese icing mmm anywhos hope you guys had a fantastic bday and jenny i see your bday is fast approaching! also, a giant farewell to suyin from cooking is my passion who is leaving oz to return to malaysia dude i wish ya all the best in the land of the cheap and hope you continue smiling and baking and most of all blogging!

so lately ive been downloading gossip girl and has it struck anyone else how similar it is to the oc? i mean i know its the same dude who created oc but its blond and beautiful serena van der woodsen to marissa cooper, cool and catty blair waldorf to summer roberts, in-control mother lily van der woodsen to kirsten cohen and trippy rufus humphrey to sandy cohen. oh and everyones rich and goes to an elite high school where punch ups, dances and backstabbing are the norm. so is it just me? oh and the voice over chick? the gossip girl? thats kirsten bell aka veronica mars aka elle on heroes
speaking of heroes the amount of time travel done by hiro and peter petrelli is totally making me lose the plot. and im waiting for a showdown between claire and elle too bad claire cant throw fireballs or something…
and on gilmore girls on sexy shiney foxtel sadly milo aka jess has disappeared and dean is married wtf and lane is irritating the crap outta me
house and life finished for the season last week and now the unit finishes tonite oh golly my teevee is running out!

John turns another year older hoho dinner was at Ribs and Rumps Grill & Seafood […]
John turns another year older hoho dinner was at Ribs and Rumps Grill & Seafood in Gordon (Gordon Centre 808 Pacific Hwy). I was a little worried about the place after reading all the reviews on eatability but thankfully the food arrived on time, all at once and was delicious, the restaurant was a tad noisy but that was expected, the service was decent but the tables were a little squishy but anywhos the wagyu was so tasty everything can be overlooked!

much online drooling occured whilst looking at their menu and i had my heart set on ‘the challenge’ for the guys you haveta eat 3 steaks but for the girls onli 500g which sounded so easy… but then i flipped open the menu and tadah! a giant picture of a gorgeous looking slab of wagyu…

audz and me very very happy hehe we decided to order the 800g of wagyu to share and return another day for the challenge oh man the wagyu was so delicious and filled with a tops fatty goodness to juicy meat ratio and the mash was so creamy and smooth mmm

if i dont eat every coupla hours i get cranky so i have lots of snacks floating around my house
guylian seashell chocolates mmm in the past 2 weeks ive managed to eat my way thru 5 boxes… keeping in mind one box of chocolate is the equivalent of 4 cans of coke and i tend to drink a can of coke per day… i really should check my blood sugar levels…
spinach dip on toasted brioche slices brushed in olive oil… the worlds easiest recipe: grab a box of defrosted spinach and mix with mayo and sour cream. chuck in salt n pepper and a handful of parmesan cheese and give everything a good mix [chomp chomp]
last but not least the date and toffee log from the pudding lane! the pudding lane stall is next to us at the epping markets and after some samples we caved and bought it to snack on mmm sooo rich
