how to make ikea meatballs

sometimes you just dont want to drive all the way to rhoddes for your ikea meatball fix. and so one day after a trolley laden trip to ikea i picked up a packet of meatballs, ligonberry jam and the packet mix for the sauce. there is actually a recipe on how to make up the meatballs from scratch but uh i am lazy… anywhos all up i think it costs less than $15 from the ikea food shop but you will also need to have cream and potatos. you wont be using all the cream maybe about half the container.
first up skin and boil ya potatos! this is the only thing that takes a while. go make a cup of tea while ya waiting. when theyre done mash em with some of your cream
mah frozen meatballs! these dont need to be defrosted and can be whacked in the microwave for 2mins or oven for a bit longer woohoo the easiness!
according to the instructions on the packet it said mix the contents with cream and stir. uh i would advise whisking it because otherwise itll be lumpy. the sauce takes like 3mins to make heh again woo! the easiness!
and tadah! whack the meatballs on a plate, plonk on some mash, big dollop of ligonberry jam and cover with gravy and youve got yourselves some ‘homecooked’ meatballs!
