28 macarons
Just a quick one today folks cos I’m still sick but I’m slowly getting better and the crazy coughing fits have died down which is just as well because it feels like I’ve coughed up a lung! In case you don’t already follow me on twitter or instagram, the boy bought me 28 caramelised palm sugar macarons from Adriano Zumbo for my b’day. I was super sad they didn’t have any popcorn or salted caramel macarons but these babies were just as delicious, not too sweet and with a slight salty edge which made for tasty breakfast this week 😛 Those 2 lighter macarons in the pic were his choice- roasted white chocolate macs and oh boy were those uber sweet even for me! There was also ricotta cheesecake from where else but the fabulous Pasticceria Papa and I am up to my eye balls in candy which is just awesome.
