I’ve always wanted to see the Sydney fireworks super super close so noods booked dinner at Jordons seafood restaurant in Darling Harbour. Unfortunately for him he doesn’t have a credit card haha so i got to pay lol but dinner was sexy. We had arrived in the city for a bit of shopping (ill post fotos of my preetty bags later), parked in star city and then walked (well i hobbled along in my heels) to darling harbour where noods got us lost twice. Our waitresses were a bit odd (Hellooo! How are weeeee) but atmosphere, food and company were great =)

First off: my entree of Deep Fried Salted Spiced Calamari on a marinated paw-paw and cucumber salad with passionfruit sauce. I couldn’t taste the pawpaw. I couldnt see the pawpaw. I could however taste passionfruit because I dont like passionfruit lol but the calamari was nice and soft with salty goodness. Like you know how sometimes calamari can be all rubbery and chewy? This wasn’t hehe i cant describe food!

Noods of course got the Sydney Rock Oysters and dude they were ginormous and soo tasty! Mmm molluscs

Mains we decided on the Jordons Deluxe Seafood Platter with chilled Western Australian lobster, Macquarie Lakes blue swimmer crabs, Sydney rock oysters, cooked chilled Santa Anna Bay prawns, BBQ octopus, Victorian mussels, spiced prawns, fried baby calamari, deep fried fish of the day and south coast bugs.

Of the lot I reckon the crab was the best but i was too lazy so i coerced noods into cracking open the shells with “It’s so messy.. it’s ok you eat them.. I’ll get dirty” hehe we couldn’t finish all the food and about halfway thru eating the 9pm fireworks started and it was so preetty! Everyone just stopped eating and gazed upwards at the pretty pretty colours and then later when everyone was walking off ppl started going past our table going ooh look food! And noods was handing out the prawns cos we couldn’t eat them lol

By the time dessert came we were so full. I chose Jordons Tira Mi Su layered coffee liqueur and mascarpone cream cheese cake and noods i think it was the mango panna cotta?
