malaysia part 6

my dad has a happy place in malaysia. it’s called chuai heng hehe it’s a restaurant in KL that noods’ uncle (hihi uncle ken!) introduced us to that serves the best suckling pig evahh

after we ate all the crackling they took the piggy carcass away and chopped and grilled it with a special sweet sauce


frog legs lol i was a bit squeamish becos id never eaten frogs legs before… it tastes like a cross between chicken and fish heh it’s not something i would order again because i kept imagining the legs kicking…

salted egg mooncake with almond slivers and snowskin mooncakes for dessert


a teapot with a teapot warmer! i was so fascinated with this how come we dont have this in oz? we have hot chocolate with chocolate warmer but not tea heh im easily amused
