Sydney Popcorn

I’m on a bit of a popcorn craze at the moment. Stove top popped corn, microwaved triple explosion butter popcorn, popcorn from the movies and of course popcorn from Kernels (my very first work place!). Recently, popcorn has been showing up and some of my fav bars so I thought I’d start a lil blawg post about it.
First up is The Wanderer (501 Elizabeth St, Sydney) which has no affiliation with the Western Sydney Wanderers lol. Order a drink and grab a free bowl of freshly popped popcorn.

On the way to Mr Crackles we stopped over at Darlie Laundromatic (304 Palmer St, Darlinghurst) for some cocktails and a bowl of Coconut and Lime popcorn ($7). I normally have issues with coconut flavours but found the combination satisfying as I love all things lime.

Last but not least is Santa Barbara (1 Bayswater Rd, Potts Point), under the giant Coke sign. By far my most favourite popcorn place ever with giant overflowing bowls of the Maholo popcorn ($7) which is a rabble of sweet pineapple bits, crispy salty bacon bits, sesame, coconut and shavings of parmesan cheese. Best.
