I’ve not eaten much Czech food in my life but I absolutely love Beast and Co and it’s one of my favourite restaurants in Sydney, especially sitting in the courtyard which is dog friendly.
The ceviche with cucumber, basil, pea and a gin and tonic granita is super refreshing. A must order is the steak tartare with a rich egg sauce and garlic rubbed crispbread. Then there’s the duck which is always delicious, crisp skin and juicy meat with the most incredibly rich jus.
The flank steak is great value at $39, it’s a perfect medium rare and I loved the anchovy butter and roasted garlic. For sides the Paris mash with melted butter is super rich and just so good. And to finish up we had the Czech donut with plums, berries and vanilla gelato.
