Deux Frères is a small pintxos and tapas bar in Circular Quay that opened a couple of months ago. We start off with a carafe of sangria which is perfect for this warm weather.

Upon entering I spied the brioche with Foie Gras and onion jam at the counter and immediately had to order it followed by the olive oil and vinegar marinated anchovies.

The Jamon serrano was sliced to order, we also got a tin of Anchovy Fillets that’s served with potato crisps. I loved the juicy garlic prawns which arrive sizzling and finally the txistorra sausage with a cider glaze and a pour of Calvados brandy flamed at the table is definitely a crowd pleaser.
