Firepop have finally opened a bricks and mortar location in Enmore and we scored seats at the bar so we could watch everything be grilled, first up are the small but incredibly rich lamb bone marrow, then the super sweet corn ribs with Caciocavallo cheese, followed by the amazing Fullblood Marble Score 9+ Wagyu beef cube with sea salt and garlic crisps.

A must order is the lamb skewers with sesame and a light dusting of cumin and you’ve got to order the pork belly with fermented chilli, garlic

I love playing Padron roulette and luckily didn’t land the spicy pepper.

And finally the star of the show is the incredible grass fed Scotch fillet with grilled chives. This was perfectly cooked, it was so juicy and tender with a great char. I mean just look at this, oh and the jus was just fantastic.

For dessert they were sadly out of the corn but the pretty as a picture pannacotta was smooth and had the perfect level of sweetness.
