Favs of 2009

  31 December 2009

It’s that time of year again! Here’s some of my fav posts of 2009:

There were swirly rainbow cakes aplenty which began with a mushroom cake for Richard

And another one for the boy

And finally a 20 layer rainbow cake for Helen

The once best kept secret of Adriano Zumbo’s Patisserie in Balmain became common knowledge after his appearance on Masterchef, leading to the awesome Macaron Day

Managed to organise 30 food bloggers to come to my b’day dinner even tho I hadn’t met half of them in real life…

This video of Jonah’s famous wobbly boobie pannacotta video started making the rounds after the Taste of Sydney Festival

The awesome Billy organised a weekend away fishing on the Hawkesbury River. Note: this wasn’t the boat! (duh)

After the boy and i moved to our new place the beginning of cooking posts began with bill granger’s ricotta hotcakes

Roasting my first ever pork rack

Playing with balloons to make chocolate bowls

Ignoring my cholesterol levels and making a basket made of bacon

Decided I really wanted to win a trip to Singapore so entered a comp where I filled a bathtub with Pringles

Food parties with the foodbloggers where prosciutto is the star thanks to Simon

Or dumplings

Or dessert at Ellie’s

And last but not least, Helen and I organising the biggest Sydney food bloggers meetup
